You have two options, stay here or move forward. You can dwell on what was supposed to be or accept the reality and allow the Holy Spirit to guide your way. So often, disruptions in life pull you from your connection in Christ. You lose hope when the picture you’ve painted doesn’t turn out the way you would have liked. You begin complaining, bickering, and feeling like you are drowning. You spiral more and more out of control hoping to one day gain full control.
At this point, you may have decided to walk away from your decision to trust and depend on God in this hour because it feels like nothing is going as planned. You may have decided that since His plans aren’t lining up with your plans that leaving Him will be the better option. You have allowed fear and doubt to set in and now you’re stagnant. You already know that leaving the covering of the Holy Spirit isn’t the better option, but you have chosen to allow your emotions to guide the way. What else can go wrong?
It’s time to change your perception on how you are viewing your situation. It’s time to ponder on the truth. It’s time to get back in alignment. It’s time for your season of breakthrough! God has so much more in store for you and He has blessed you with this season of isolation for the purpose of elevation. He wants to take you higher in Him, and in order to do so, He requires your undivided attention. He needs you to trust Him now than ever before. The just shall live by faith (Habakkuk 2:4).
Man looks at the outer, but God looks at the heart. When He examines your heart, what does He see? The enemy has been granted permission to put you under fire so that you can see where your hope and trust truly is (Job 1). Make the devil out of a liar. It’s time to prove that you are faithful and your hope is in Christ Jesus. It may get tough at times, but the Lord has a way of sending what you need.
